Tesla held a special pop-up event over the weekend for Art Basel Miami Beach, the international art fair in Florida. The pop-up was dubbed “The Future of Autonomy Visualized” and reportedly featured Elon Musk’s Cybercab prototype and Optimus robots. EV maker Tesla shared the latest update on its humanoid robot Optimus on X (formerly Twitter) on December 3. The video clip shared by the official Tesla Optimus account and Elon Musk showed the humanoid running in a lab, with other robots lined up in the background.

"If you say, like, you now get a free Optimus and it's just gonna follow you around and stop you from doing crime, but other than that you get to do anything. It's just gonna stop you from committing crime, that's really it," Musk said at Tesla's annual shareholder meeting last month. And he meant it.
