I don't get much time with my own horses lately, and it shows in terms of both theur understanding of the more advanced stuff, and my skill level with the more advanced stuff. Yes, life happens woth horse professionals too. The bulk of my work is foundational relaxation work.. That stuff I can do in my sleep now, but when I hit a busy patch and I don't work on more finesse based movements for a while.. I lose fluidity.. And my horses aren't as light and responsive. It's not the end of the world.
